Beckman will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Woodbridge at 3:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Beckman faced off against Northwood for the first time this season, and Beckman walked away the winners. They beat Northwood by a goal, winning 2-1.
Meanwhile, Woodbridge has not lost a match since December 27, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Sage Hill. Three seems to be a good number for Woodbridge as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jerome Ligate and
Zachary Rockoff, who scored.
Beckman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7-2 record this season. As for Woodbridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-2.
Beckman suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Woodbridge when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Beckman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
