Winnebago hasn't had much luck against Homer recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indians will welcome the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

While Winnebago was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Homer didn't have quite enough to beat Wynot on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 25-17 in the first set.
Homer actually scored more points across those five sets (103-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-19, 26-24, 19-25, 15-10.
Winnebago will have to keep a close watch on Rilee Barclay and Janessa Overgaard, a pair of players who had a big impact on Homer's prior game. Barclay had 11 digs and two assists, while Overgaard had eight kills and two aces. Overgaard is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had eight or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Homer's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Winnebago, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
