Midlothian came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Seagoville, but Mason Maxfield wouldn't allow it. The Dragons strolled past the Panthers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 64-46 for which the team can thank Maxfield, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 19 points.

Another player making a difference was Adam West, who posted eight points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last five games he's played.

Seagoville's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Midlothian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seagoville will venture away from home to take on Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Midlothian, they will head out to challenge South Grand Prairie at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
