Sacred Heart had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-5 to make it four. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Collins Tigers. Even though they lost, the Crusaders' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 26.7 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Despite the loss, Sacred Heart still got an impressive performance from Luke Davey, who rushed for 267 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Davey's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

It was another big night for Tijarian Barnes, who rushed for 182 yards and three scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Derwin Magee also helped out as he racked up 154 rushing yards.
Sacred Heart didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-3 defeat against Perry Central on the 30th. As for Collins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 30-14 loss against East Marion on the 30th.
