The Conrad Chargers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 60-47 victory over Adams on Wednesday. The victory was just what Conrad needed coming off of a 61-38 defeat in their prior matchup.
Conrad's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Singleton, who scored 28 points. Derrian Jones was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Adams' loss came despite strong showings from Keiontay marsh and Terell Toomas. marsh scored 19 points along with two steals, while Toomas scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
The win got Conrad back to even at 12-12. As for Adams, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-16.
Conrad will take on Samuell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Adams, they will head out on the road to challenge Spruce at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Spruce has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
