A Season-Best Effort from Kinston Crater Leads Starmount over Carrboro
On Friday, Starmount got the W thanks in part to Kinston Crater playing the best football he has all season. Crater rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023.
The victory made it two in a row for Starmount and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Crater and Starmount have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome East Wilkes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

East Wilkes found a leader in Phoenix Blackburn as the squad took down Elkin on Friday. Blackburn turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
East Wilkes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Blackburn and East Wilkes will venture away from home to square off against Starmount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Colt Stowe Makes It Two for East Wilkes
