Brunswick has gone 8-2 against Strongsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Brunswick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, Brunswick needed a bit of extra time to put away Medina. They came out on top against the Battling Bees by a score of 7-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Battling Bees recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Gabby Diligente tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ava Williams and Ava Beas did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went 3-for-5 with three RBI, while Beas went 3-for-5 with three runs. Those three hits gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delainey Andolek, who went 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Brunswick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Strongsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Medina on Monday.
Addison Heidenhoffer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Heidenhoffer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Emma Hartman was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Stacey Mraz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Strongsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Strongsville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Brunswick hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .405. It's a different story for Strongsville, though, as they've only averaged .249. Will they be able to contain Brunswick's hitters?
Everything went Brunswick's way against Strongsville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Brunswick made off with an 8-0 win. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
