Canyon moved up to 121 from 247 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region IV District 25. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of topping Roosevelt 47-22.
Smithson Valley was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Montwood. The Rangers came in at 17 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
