The Mart Panthers on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Bremond Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-30, which was the final score in Mart's tilt against Marlin on Tuesday. Mart has struggled against Marlin recently, as their match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bremond's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Axtell. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bremond has scored all season.
Mart's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bremond, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
Mart took a serious blow against Bremond when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 57-29. Can Mart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
