Potlatch is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They and the Kendrick Tigers, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. Potlatch is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.2 runs per game this season.
Potlatch is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Bonners Ferry with a sharp 21-6 victory last Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Loggers.
Daycee Fry made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Fry was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those RBI were her first of the season.
