Lake Gibson came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers . Considering the Braves have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Ridgeview Global Studies Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brinley Herndon, Ali Simonides, Peyton Haynes, and Elyssa Carris.

Lake Gibson's win bumped their record up to 10-7-2. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-2.
