The Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars walked away with  a   7-3  victory over the Howell Central Spartans. The  win was familiar territory for Fort Zumwalt West who now have four in a row.
  Tanner Sullivan tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  5.2 innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side, Fort Zumwalt West let  Brant Deverman and  Michael Wolff loose on the outfield. Deverman  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Wolff  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Logan Cowick, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Fort Zumwalt West has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record  this season. As for Howell Central, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11-1 record  this season.
