Heidelberg Academy extended the longest winning streak in MAIS A District 4 this week by beating Cenla Christian Academy, 21-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Rebels.
Newton County Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on Glenbrook. Zack Meeks ran for 228 yards in the win.
Newton County Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Generals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tanner Smith has thrown for 948 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Joseph Little has 14 catches for 374 yards. Meeks leads the league in rushing with 896 yards.
