Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Howard, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 19 points and eight boards. Howard is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Luke Wessel was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.
Trinity's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Marion, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Trinity has already played their next game, a 64-51 loss against Ell-Saline on the 14th. As for Marion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-43 defeat against Bennington on the 14th.
