The Lakota Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Old Fort Stockaders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Old Fort took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakota, who comes in off a win.
Lakota had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Fostoria on Saturday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Redmen. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.
Hunter Sweeney made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Sweeney was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Old Fort's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lakota hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Old Fort, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Lakota's hitters?
