Kennedy is 4-0 against Muchin College Prep since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Kennedy Crusaders will get right back to it and host the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kennedy has three straight wins, Muchin College Prep has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Hubbard scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, Kennedy still came out on top. Kennedy walked away with a 65-57 victory over Hubbard.
Joseph Dahl and Michael Gallas were among the main playmakers for Kennedy as the former scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Gallas hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Roberto Guzman, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Muchin College Prep lost to DRW College Prep on the road by a decisive 51-35 margin on Wednesday.
Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Muchin College Prep, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Kennedy strolled past Muchin College Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 69-53. Does Kennedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Muchin College Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
