Canal Winchester posted their closest win since April 1st on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Buckeye Valley Barons 7-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won four games in a row.
Kendal Mccrea made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Mccrea was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, HannaH Pearson was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Scout DeSutter was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
