Xavier Pauling turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cedarville is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.

Pauling's strong effort led Cedarville over Southeastern Local and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
