In what's become a running theme this season, Rapides gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 68-13 victory over Harrisonburg. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Rapides has managed all season.
Rapides' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christopher Newton led the charge by scoring ten points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwon Jones, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Grant suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 63-28 loss at the hands of Neville. Grant has struggled against Neville recently, as their game on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Rapides' victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Grant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
