After flying high against West Las Vegas  on Friday, Texico came back down to earth. The Wolverines took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albuquerque Academy Chargers on Saturday. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 Kinzee Crow paced Texico's offense, picking up 22 kills. Crow got some help from  Kailie Wieland and her 39 assists. Crow was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Texico  fell to 2-1. As for Albuquerque Academy, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Texico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  loss against Cobre on the 6th. As for Albuquerque Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Valencia on the 6th.
