Wossman waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Franklin Parish Patriots 64-46. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Patriots are ranked 32nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wossman's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Franklin Parish, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Wossman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-69 loss against Ouachita Parish on the 27th. As for Franklin Parish, they will finish 2025 at home by hosting West Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
