Those nine digs gave Almoite a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Bermudez, who had eight digs and two aces.

Elsinore will need to focus on slowing down Carlvin Valdez, one of several West Valley players who made an impact when they last played. He had 35 assists and 14 digs. Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Elsinore has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.2 aces per game. However, it's not like West Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Elsinore's way against West Valley in their previous matchup back in March, as Elsinore made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
