Given Berea-Midpark's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Middies are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Austin Clay, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyson Clay, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Berea-Midpark has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Midview, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea-Midpark will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
