The Taylorsville Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Farmington Phoenix at 5:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Taylorsville focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
 Last Friday, Taylorsville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  58-52 to Brighton. While losing is never fun, Taylorsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings  (they are ranked 64th, while Brighton is ranked 20th).
 Despite the  loss, Taylorsville had strong showings from  Jenna Sterzer, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 15  rebounds, and  Marlee Reupena, who  scored 17 points along with seven  assists and four  steals. The  game was  Reupena's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karen Jones, who  scored eight points.
 Meanwhile,  this season hasn't been kind to Farmington, who are still winless after their sixth game. They took a  48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northridge on Friday.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Taylorsville and  nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Farmington, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Taylorsville came up short against Farmington in their previous meeting  back in December of 2022, falling  62-49. Can Taylorsville avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
