The Laingsburg Wolfpack came up short against the Swan Valley Vikings on Monday and fell  2-0.
 While Laingsburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15,  25-22.
Their offense was headlined by  Harper Strouse and  Alayna Merrill, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from  Kendall Michels and her nine assists.
Laingsburg's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-6-1. As for Swan Valley, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8-1.
 Laingsburg and Swan Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Wolfpack will  challenge  Potterville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday with a big rank  advantage  (246 vs. 510). Meanwhile,  Swan Valley (ranked 130th) will meet Glenn (ranked 297th)  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
