Midland Christian came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Southwest Christian School Eagles with a sharp 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Maddy Munoz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
