Israel Sauceda continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 291 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.3 yards per carry. Sauceda was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Maverick Robertson and his 119 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Victoria Cobra HomeSchool's victory.
Meanwhile, Runge fell victim to Somerville's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 2-0 to the Yeguas.
Victoria Cobra HomeSchool's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 5-3 Valor South Austin and 4-3 Faith Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 65% over those games). As for Runge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
