It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Manor Mustangs can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Warhill on Friday, falling 59-12. Manor's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it six in a row.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendrick Sowell, who threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Manor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Warhill, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Manor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Warhill will look to defend their home field on Friday against Churchland at 7:00 p.m. Churchland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
