The Ponca Indians can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 42-33 victory over Bloomfield. For Ponca, this counts as revenge for the 54-53 loss the Bees walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 5th.
Despite the loss, Bloomfield still got an impressive performance from Kora Poppe, who scored 15 points. Madison Abbenhaus was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Ponca's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Bloomfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ponca will take on the Huskies at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloomfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Warriors.
