Williston-Elko extended the longest winning streak in A Region IV this week by beating Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, 42-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Williston-Elko took down the Trojans 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Quinton Staggers made the biggest impact on defense this week as North lost to Fox Creek. The 5-foot-10 defensive lineman recorded one fumble.
Christian Savage was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 81 yards as the Eagles lost to the Predators. Teammate Da'Quan Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 80 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ridge Spring-Monetta takes on Dwayne Garrick's team. As it stands, the Trojans are in fifth, while the Blue Devils are in first.
Blackville-Hilda and Ridge Spring-Monetta played the most hotly contested game in A Region IV this week, with Blackville-Hilda eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory.
