After flying high against the Thomas Academy Eagles last Friday, the Falcon Christian Academy Warriors came back down to earth. Falcon Christian Academy fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 48-45. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Falcon Christian Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Falcon Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Dre Glenn, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Glenn is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaden Dantzler, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Lee Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Christian Wilson out in front who scored 18 points along with two steals. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Daniel Rumbold was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Falcon Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Lee Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.
Falcon Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Monarchs at 6:30 p.m. on February 12th. Lee Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
