Lisbon is 1-9 against Northern Cass since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lisbon Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Northern Cass Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Dakota (Lisbon is ranked 39th, while Northern Cass is ranked 28th).
Lisbon suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Kindred, falling 73-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lisbon has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Northern Cass waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 57-50 victory over Richland.
Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Northern Cass, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Lisbon and Northern Cass were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but Lisbon came up empty-handed after a 43-42 defeat. Can Lisbon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
