The biggest upset of the week belonged to Yucaipa, who took down 242nd ranked Yucaipa, 26-24. Wesley Hill ran for 169 yards in the win.
Jimmy Walker and Walter Jones provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Redlands East Valley. The longest such play in Citrus Belt this season, the connection resulted in 95 yards.
Redlands's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Walker threw for 209 and two touchdowns and Jones had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Craig Lee chipped in 255 yards. Jordan Ory helped Redlands' passing attack out by catching three balls for 84 yards.
Levi Plante provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Wildcats fell to the Terriers. He completed 17 passes for 129 yards and also ran for 138 yards. Plante's favorite target this week was Blake Braun, who caught five passes for 42 yards.
The Thunderbirds' Billy Gustason and Brandon Scott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gustason has thrown for 1387 yards this season, while Scott, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 50 catches for 730 yards. Lee from Redlands leads the league in rushing with 1382 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Yucaipa takes on Jim Walker's team. At the moment, Justin Price's team is in third, while the Terriers are in first.
Redlands extended the longest winning streak in Citrus Belt this week by beating Redlands East Valley, 41-37. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Terriers.
