The Centennial Patriots lost against the Eagle Mustangs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Centennial received a tough blow as they fell 54-35 to Eagle.
Leading Eagle to victory were Mary (molly) johnson and Paige Cofer. (molly) johnson went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 5 assists, while Cofer dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Cofer's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Berkley Jones, who scored five points.
Centennial has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Eagle, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Centennial and Twin Falls will round out the year against one another at 6:15 p.m. on December 28th at. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Twin Falls is ranked 67th, while Centennial is ranked 55th). As for Eagle, they will take on Bishop Kelly at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. Bishop Kelly will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
