Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Floyd). They blew past the San Jon Coyotes 42-15 on Saturday. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Coyotes, too.

Floyd got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaron Blakely out in front who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adan Nieto, who had eight points.

Floyd's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for San Jon, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Floyd will take on Grady in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
