The Lawrence County Red Devils will take on the Russellville Golden Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Russellville took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lawrence County, who comes in off a win.
If Lawrence County beats Russellville with 16  runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. Lawrence County beat West Point on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  16-2. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six  runs or more this season.
 Bella Cross made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over five innings pitched. What's more,  she gave up only zero  earned runs, the fewest she's  had  over her last five  matches. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in February of 2024.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  LA Norwood, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tilleigh Allen, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Lawrence County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Point only managed two  hits.
Meanwhile, Russellville lost  17-3 to Florence on Tuesday.
  Blevyn Sappington made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Bri McCulloch was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 Lawrence County pushed their record up to 18-6 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
 Lawrence County came out on top in a nail-biter against Russellville when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, sneaking past  12-11. Will Lawrence County repeat their success,  or does  Russellville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
