Beaver and Enterprise are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Beavers will face off against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beaver will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Beaver is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Milford with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Raider Blomquist was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabe Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Davis Carter, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milford only posted an OBP of .320.
Meanwhile, in Saturday's Canine Competition, Enterprise prevailed. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Gunnison Valley 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since March 28th.
Parker Staheli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Kyler Randall was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Eric Phelps also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Enterprise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Beaver, their record now sits at 21-3.
Both Beaver and Enterprise just can't seem to miss. The Beavers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Enterprise struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.9 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beaver beat Enterprise 5-2 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
