The Chatham Central Bears won the last time they faced the Graham Red Devils, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Chatham Central enjoyed a cozy  66-50 win over Graham. Given Chatham Central's advantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 207th, while Graham is ranked 561st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Chatham Central was led to victory by  Katherine  Gaines and  Karaleigh Dodson.  Gaines  scored 22 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals, while  Dodson  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 18  rebounds. Those 18  rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was  Mattie Caviness, who  scored six points.
 Chatham Central's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Graham, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatham Central will  face off against Cummings at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cummings is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Graham, they will head out on the road to face off against North Moore at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
