The Metro-East Lutheran Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 50-28 walloping at the hands of Christ Our Rock Lutheran. Metro-East Lutheran has not had much luck with Christ Our Rock Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Metro-East Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Kober, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Isabelle McLeod was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Metro-East Lutheran dropped their record down to 3-24 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-16.
Metro-East Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Christ Our Rock Lutheran also has no future games currently scheduled.
