With a playoff game on the line, Mound-Westonka rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   4-1  win over the DeLaSalle Islanders. That's more bragging rights for Mound-Westonka, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Grayson Van Nelson was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Cole Drill, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Mound-Westonka has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record  this season. As for DeLaSalle, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-12.
 As of now, neither Mound-Westonka nor DeLaSalle have any future games scheduled.
