It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oscar Smith had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Western Branch Bruins as they made off with a 79-58 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Western Branch lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaden Walker, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Camryn Clark, who had 14 points.

The victory (which was Oscar Smith's 13th in a row) raised their record to 23-1. As for Western Branch, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Coming up, Oscar Smith will face off against Highland Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oscar Smith knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 games -- so hopefully Highland Springs likes a good challenge. Western Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
