Samson was even better at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. She hasn't dropped below two  stolen bases for three straight games.
 In other batting news, Mendon got a  massive  performance out of  Rowan Allen, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Allen is trending in the right direction, as she's  improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cienna Nightengale, who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI and two  doubles.
 Mendon pushed their record up to 21-1 with that  win, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Sturgis, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Mendon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  17-0  victory vs. Bellevue on the 2nd. As for Sturgis, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Three Rivers at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
