Forest Hills (Sidman, Pa.) snapped
Central (Martinsburg, Pa.)'s 4-game winning streak, with a 21-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Joe Donoughe in the second quarter, the Rangers led 14-7 at the half.
Forest Hills expanded its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. FH scored once in the quarter on a touchdown pass by Donoughe to
Jared Shope.
With the win the Sidman school extended its winning streak to six games. The Rangers defeated the Mountaineers 43-0 last week.
Forest Hills' standout player in the win was Donoughe. The sophomore quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
The Dragons'
Todd Slick played well. The senior ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.
Central's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Slick in the second quarter.
FH had given up an average of 11.1 points prior to the contest. CHS's seven points were well below its season average of 42.2 per game.
The loss comes after Central defeated Everett 21-7 last week.
