Wallkill hasn't had much luck against Pine Bush recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bushmen at 4:30 p.m. Wallkill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Wallkill blew Red Hook out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Red Hook got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 5-3.

Connor Bleichner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Pine Bush entered their tilt with Valley Central on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged out the Vikings 4-2.

Pine Bush's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wallkill, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
