While Holliday's victory against City View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 5th.

Holliday's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-5. As for City View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Holliday will head out to face off against Windthorst at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for City View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
