College Prep of America was led to victory by Ibrahim Elagha and Hamzah Shouman. Elagha scored 29 points along with seven steals and five assists, while Shouman scored 26 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Shouman hasn't dropped below 15points for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Hasan Hasan, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
College Prep of America's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
College Prep of America will be playing at home against MCC at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. MCC is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. As for Islamic Foundation, they will challenge Schaumburg Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Schaumburg Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Islamic Foundation likes a good challenge.
