Mary Persons enjoyed a cozy 53-39 win over Tattnall Square Academy. Winning may never get old, but Mary Persons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Mary Persons' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samiya Morris led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Quanesha Brown, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Mary Persons has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 5-1 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.67 points. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Mary Persons will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tattnall Square Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 12:45 p.m. on December 6th.
