Coahulla Creek hadn't beaten Rockmart on the road since December 11, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Colts came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 62-51. The Colts' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Coahulla Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Douglas led the charge by going 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Douglas also posted a 43% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Waelyn Baliles was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Coahulla Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Rockmart, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
