The Northwest Yeshiva Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 83-61 margin over Quilcene. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Northwest Yeshiva's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Kaufthal led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kaufthal has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Benoliel, who scored 21 points along with seven steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Northwest Yeshiva and bumps their season record up to 7-10. As for Quilcene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Northwest Yeshiva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Quilcene also has no future games currently scheduled.
