Calli Yount put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April of 2024 on Monday. She struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

Yount's strong effort led Clarendon Hall over Thomas Sumter Academy and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
